We Have Returned: Prodigal Son on em'

I apologize to those of you who have been looking for posts from our Nilai team.  The combination of our less than perfect internet and our busy schedules have prevented us from posting faithfully.  In our absence we have been learning so much and have seen God work in so many areas of our lives.  A huge victory for us happened last week.  We got to see a guy come to Christ!  Without revealing any details for the safety of this guy, all I can say is that it was awesome.  Please pray for him and his new relationship with our God and also for his family because they are not Christians, they actually stand against Christianity.  Pray that he would stand strong and have faith in our awesome God.

Also, some important figures in the Campus Outreach realm came into town yesterday.  We got a chance to show them around campus and introduce them to a few people.  They are looking at potentially putting a CO team here in Nilai.  Please pray for guidance for them and that they would seek wisdom from God through this.

We are closing our summer out here in Nilai with a huge party tomorrow (saturday) night.  We are expecting around 50 or 60 people.  Please pray for our time tomorrow that we could have some spiritual conversations and that we can give closure to relationships.  Also we will be giving a gospel presentation sometime during our party.  Please pray that the students and friends we have made will be receptive to the gospel message and be intrigued by Jesus and the sacrifice he made for us.

As we look back on our summer, we can truly see how God was ordaining everything.  We got to see God provide for us and got to see him strengthen our relationships with each other and with him.  Pray that we would not check out early because we are leaving in a few days.  We want to take advantage of every opportunity the Lord gives us and we want to be able to follow these students up even after we leave.  God uses faithful people and we have gotten to experience that this summer.  Even in the short amount of time that we had here, he used it and us to spark a light of truth in students' lives.  Pray for these students that as many of them go back to their home countries and as many of them travel to other countries for further study, that they would continue their search for an understanding of Christianity and of the gospel.
